We
feel it is an absolute requirement to present as much as possible
information LIVE to the
public and to the media.
For
certain you agree that it would be no pleasure to watch
a soccer, american football or baseball match, if at the end
we still
don't know the score...
Indeed,
this is not different for athletics, tennis or any
other sport.
Therefore you
need numerical, alfanumerical or graphical scoreboards to displays
these results live
to your public.

Our numerical scoreboards
are used the most, for all kind of events.
The
7 fluorescent segments guarantee a perfect readibilty under all
light conditions,
and are driven electromagnetically so that there is almost
no power consumption when the board is not updated.
This
means that
the board can work continuously for more than 7 days on
the standard rechargeable battery which we deliver with each
configuration.
We
also include the tripods and a 220Vac or 110Vac powered battery
charger. |

A three-button control box is
also part of each delivery, to initiate the built-in timer of
the scoreboard,
or even to switchover to one of the other five timing & display
programs.
This box can be used to time and display the time of marathons,
duathlons, triathlons, etc, where the user can choose between
a display of MMSShh (minutes until hundreds of seconds) or HHMMSS
(display of hours until seconds).
Of
course the scoreboard can also be driver by an
external source like the MacFinish PC, the WindSpeed device,
a FieldTerminal or any other computer with an RS232 serial
connection. |

These
type of scoreboards are available as 3, 4 and 6 digits models
in 3 character heights: 10, 15 and 25cm
or respectively 3.9", 5.9" and 9.8".

Our
most frequently used model for timing display is the 6 digits
model of 25 cm, which
is not only available in the standard "rectangular" version including
tripods (see photo on top of this page), but also in a "triangular" shaped
model to be placed on the ground (see photo on left side).

|
To display the remaining
time in athletic field-events (countdown), or to show
an upcounting time during races or training events with
only 3 digits (H:MM or M:SS or S:hh), we have this 3-digit
version in stock.

|
|
If you agree that the
public is entitled to know to amount of wind experienced during
the race or jump, you can use the 3-digit model.
It
is simply connected to the windspeed apparatus by means of a
serial
cable which is part of every new WindSpeed delivery. |
|
|
Both a single sided and
a 3-sided 2-digit model is available to show the number
of remaining laps to the audience AND the participating
athletes or cyclists.
A
manually operated bell is used for some sports to indicate the
participants that the last lap is initiated. |

For
athletic field events we can now offer our automatic motorised
rotating Field Scoreboards.
They
receive the RS-232 serial data from a TimeTronics FieldTerminal
or a standard PC.
Each
field scoreboard has four wheels for a
stable setup and quick repositioning inside the track in
between two events.
The
built-in 12Vdc battery is powerfull enough for two days of continuous
use without charging.
The
foto on the
left
demonstrates the standard version, with 10 electromagnetic
digits to show attempt (1), athleteID (4 digits) and performance
(5
digits). During pole vault the 5 performance digits
could also show for
example "C 6.20" or "F
6.25". |

LED Rotating Field Scoreboard in 3 different versions allows you to give more athlete information and a better visibility. Your athletes and spectators will enjoy this!
20mm LED special designed for Athletics! Uni Color LED, Double Color LED and Full Color LED are available.
On the photo you can see a version with horizontally 64 dots and vertically 48 dots. Graphic objects can easily be made by means of the windows "Paint" program, and sent to the scoreboard by the serial RS-232 link.
Any terminal program, or dedicated software package could also send specific commands for a display of simple alfanumerical text and in different character sizes.

Single
line and multiline, different sizes and LED-colors are available
with our LED-type of scoreboards.
These
boards can only be used for display purposes, as they do not
have timing functions themselve. However, if you are looking
for an automatic time-of-day display, we can offer you DCF
or GPS receivers that can be built-in to show you the current
daytime
(HH:MM:SS).
A
220Vac line is necessary to power these boards, and a RS-232
connection is used to control such a board from
the Athletics Manager, FieldTerminal, or other timing computers
like the TimeTrial system for cycling. |
